Senior Accounts Payable Specialist
We are looking for a driven Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing company. This individual plays an integral role in developing and maintaining practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial statements. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities, including accounts payables, expense management, credit card reconciliations, and supports the Accounting Manager for various internal reports. The professional will report to the Accounting Manager. This role will require strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

The following duties are generally representative of the level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive: Job Responsibilities • Process accounts payable • Record and code credit card transactions • Reconcile credit card statements • Process investment account reconciliations • Assist accounting manager with various internal reporting projects • Provide support for various general office tasks • Follows processes well while looking for opportunities for improvement Candidate Requirements • 1- 3 years of prior experience in accounting. Experience working in a mutual fund or investment advisory firm is a plus • BA/BS in Business with Emphasis in Accounting; preferred • PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast pace setting. Expert in excel, QuickBooks, and other standard office software. • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
